Former ice dance world champion Isabelle Delobel of France is ready to start training again with partner Olivier Schoenfelder after giving birth earlier this month.
The Frenchwoman said during a news conference Saturday that the pair will start training at the end of October with next year's Olympics in Vancouver as their main goal.
Delobel said that "in three months, we will be able to offer something very strong."
Delobel gave birth to a son, Lois, on Oct. 1.
Delobel and Schoenfelder, who took the ice dance gold at the 2008 worlds, will also compete at the European championships in January.
The French duo missed this year's worlds in Los Angeles after Delobel sustained a right shoulder injury that required an operation.
